Aim & Scope/会议介绍

In recent years, pattern recognition has become a hot research branch thanks to the recent advances of machine learning driven by big data. In light of the fast-paced advancements in pattern recognition taking place all over the world, it is of great interest to keep an eye on the state-of-the-art research and development and to facilitate collaboration in multidisciplinary research areas. With this end in view, it’s a great pleasure for us to invite you to participate in 2024 9th International Workshop on Pattern Recognition (IWPR 2024) during June 21-23, 2024 in Xiamen, China, co-sponsored by Huaqiao University, hosted by College of Computer Science and Technology (Huaqiao University), co-hosted by School of Informatics (Xiamen University), etc.

IWPR was established in 2016 and was successfully held in Tokyo, Japan (2016), Singapore (2017, Nanyang Technological University), Jinan, China(2018, sponsored by University of Jinan), Nanjing, China (2019, sponsored by Southeast University), Virtual Conference (2020), Beijing, China (2021, sponored by Beijing Technology And Business University), Virtual Conference (2022, sponored by Huaqiao University), Xiamen, China (2023, sponored by Huaqiao University). In the last eight years, IWPR attracted attendees from more than 15 countries. It was praised for the richness of its social networking, was widely recognized for its continuous adaptation to emerging technical trends, and attracting numerous industry and academic players. The IWPR encompasses all technical aspects of specifying, developing and evaluating the theoretical underpinnings and applied mechanisms of the AI-based components of computer tools such as algorithms, architectures and languages.

2024第9届模式识别国际研讨会(IWPR 2024)将于2024年6月21-23日在中国厦门举办，此次会议由华侨大学主办，华侨大学计算机科学与技术学院承办 ，厦门大学信息学院协办，并一如既往的得到其他高校以及科研机构的支持。会议发起于2016年，分别于2016年在日本东京，2017年在新加坡南洋理工大学，2018年 中国济南(济南大学主办)，2019年中国南京(东南大学主办)，2020年线上会议成功，2021年中国北京(北京工商大学主办)，2022年线上会议(华侨大学主办)，2023年中国厦门(华侨大学主办)成功举办。

Publications/出版检索

IWPR 2024 is accepting submission of two type of papers:

• Full papers should present original technically sound research with paper publication
• Abstract should present original technically sound research without paper publication

All accepted papers for IWPR 2024, which will be registered and presented at the conference, will be published into Conference Proceedings by SPIE, included in SPIE Digital Library and submitted for Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index Science, Scopus, Ei Compendex, ISI, etc, to ensure maximum awareness of the Proceedings like the last eight years.
